What Are Core Values?

Examples Core Values

Core Values are the things that motivate us , what we believe are important , and which we make a priority in life. If someone was to ask you what your personal core values are , would you have the answer off the top of your head? Chances are no though , most people have issues answering this question and feeling confident about it.

Most people don't really have a understanding on what is important to them as individuals. The same thing goes for core values , not everyone understands their own personal values in life. Since everyone has their own set of values say for each schools , friends , and employers. Being that everyone has a different set they live by it makes it more difficult for people to find theirs and stick to them with influence from so many other directions.

You may be following someone else personal values , instead of your own! When you are at work you show a certain set of values that might include keeping a good time schedule , dedication and hard-working attitude , and profits or sale targets depending your business. If you spent your whole life living by these values how would you feel about your life outcome? How many of those would you really need in your daily life or outside of your job. What would you list your core values as?

Examples of Values

ambition, competency, individuality, equality, integrity, service, responsibility, accuracy, respect, dedication, diversity, improvement, enjoyment/fun, loyalty, credibility, honesty, innovativeness, teamwork, excellence, accountability, empowerment, quality, efficiency, dignity, collaboration, stewardship, empathy, accomplishment, courage, wisdom, independence, security, challenge, influence, learning, compassion, friendliness, discipline/order, generosity, persistency, optimism, dependability, flexibility

Your personal core values should be important to YOU and to no one else! Live through your values when you are at work , when you are off the good ol 9-5 , or whatever you do personally make sure you stick by your values and believe in them. Using them in everyday life is a great asset to help you be who you want to be , it can help you be much more of a leader in your personal niche , and it will help you accomplish your goals and dreams.
